PowerTunes is a media/system/weather info center built around the familliar looks of iTunes mini mode. I didn`t want to have both iTunes mini mode and my Samurize config on desktop so i combined them
Where does PowerTunes get the artwork? From what I can see, it's using AMPI's getAlbumCover function, which requires the artwork to be stored in the same folder as the music or in a global place (usu. c:\progra~1\samurize\covers\). I can't get PowerTunes to find the artwork by placing files of various image formats in either of those locations.
Is there something I need to do to get PowerTunes to recognize artwork?
Better yet, could PowerTunes pull the artwork right from iTunes (which is how I've organized my collection)? I've written a VBScript program which can pull the artwork from iTunes and save it to a file - it's pretty straight-forward. Could something like this be included in PowerTunes?
